excited man. my first roadshow... and hopefully i can fit into the uniform. man!!! hope the size fits me!!!!! tried into the M size just now... i felt like a rice dumpling - no doubt i look like one.
anyway.. hope all goes well and may i get many sales.. and hopefully i dun commit any more mistakes!!!! ARGH.

yesterday was the best day of my working days since i first started work.
5 of us made a challenge. each person placed a $2 bet. so at the end of the day whoever sold the most gets all the money.
anyway... it was like... 5pm already. one more hour before the challenge ends. and 3 of them have already sold something. the most pek chek part was... that attachment guy.. jian jian. he talk like slow motion wan lor. drags his feet when he walks even when there's a customer. darn slow. always feel like slapping him... like i've never seen any guy who talks this slow before. anyway... yah he managed to close a deal!!! the man paid full price. didnt even bargain. my goodness. lucky chap sia.
and now the spicy part is here.
well seeing all my colleagues... i felt the need to chiong sales. REALLY. i havent sold anything for 3 days!!! so i felt really desperate. then my saviour came. he really wanted that notebook.... talked to him for 30 mins. then he said he had to consider. i told him some crap then as he wanted to walk out of the store... i kinda spoke loudly "buy from me lah!!!" and i sorta collapsed onto the carton of boes in front of me. pengz... my colleagues all sorta fainted also. they laughed la.. and i became the laughing stock of the day. noe wat... they called me "lok quay".... kao. nvm.. my customer came back.. bought the notebook. and as he wanted to leave, he winked at me and asked me "are u happy?" LOL.. that sent my colleagues rotflol again...

life's kinda weird.. remember in my last post i was bitchin about aaron? well.. today he's not temperamental anymore.. he kept talking nicely and joking to everyone.. then.. i told him i wanted to get mc for tomorrow. he went to get herbal tea for me. good boss eh... keke.. he probably doesnt wanna lose any sales. *ahemz. and then.. he also keep calling me "secretary".. and i'll also be going to sitex with him. doing admin. hope all goes well.. and he doesnt get moody suddenly. or i'll die.
went to hilton with my aunt yesterday. went to this.. harbour grill restaurant or something like that. really classy place. like the ambience.. then we saw richard hung.. one of the jewellery shop's boss.. he said i look like eurasian. must be my sunburnt cheeks.. yeah. went swimming at 12noon... it was a great workout.. after 4 months not exercising!!!
anyway.. the food there... darn expensive with small portions. if not for the bread they gave us while we were waiting for our food.. we'd still be hungry after that $138 meal.. never gonna go there again. and we actually thought richard hung would pay for us.. since he was getting his meals foc. he's been a regular for 30 years. haha imagine how old he is.. yeah.. 58.

totally cool. got scolded by aaron today. first time in one month. i really have to thank the newcomers a lot man... after they came.. then i start to learn more things. i hate aaron. why does he have that kinda fuckin mindset that "aiya, part timers dun need to learn so much" diu. u know i felt really useless for one whole month? i was so itching to learn everything. wanna read the cost book. but no one ever allows. only now.. on the newcomer's 2nd day at work.. we all learn cost together. that's so unfair.
yesterday i sold a notebook. then had to set up.. i was really doing well... but just that i was trying to set up fast. i was really trying my best. really, who sets up fast without practice or familiarity? it was like my 2nd or 3rd time setting up. but i swear i'm getting faster. and aaron is still bu shuang lor. how can he compare himself and me? this is my first sales job man!!! this is my first job. i mean in my previous job i was spoonfed. not really. but it was admin job. that kinda slack slack wan.. and i can type fast, but packing things... well. at least give me some lapse lah. asshole. then he went to show that kinda pissed off face. and shout loudly leh... "WHAT ARE U DOING". i was like cant u see, i'm setting up, idiot! my customers stare at me. i wanted to throw the notebook on the floor and stamp it. u wanna scold me, scold me without the customers around lah. asshole.
everyone makes mistakes. u, being the supervisor. and to-be manager.. keep making fun of my mistakes. that's enough, fucker. still tell everyone.

just came back. went to watch The Incredibles with nini dear. it was rather funny. just loved the voice of the small incredible.. that kid. i dunno his name. was it.. brad or somethin? lolx...
anyway.. i was tryin to siam mindy. but bumped into her.. lolx. she seemed genuinely surprised. hope she wun scold anyone for giving me the tix.. haha.. anyway.. i'm still her staff wat!!!
saw lau with his gf... hm. at least i saw his soft side lah. i guess everyone has got a soft side. cos whenever i see lau.. his middle finger is always pointing out and saying "ni yao wo ba ni arh".. or "fuck u". lol.
yah. got introduced to nini's friend, tiffany. sweet, cute girl.. workin at lips cafe. and she was so shocked when we had so much food on our table.. haha.. we're the ultimate hungry pigs. well, not pigs. but eating is good. haha... and get fat. well let's not touch on that.
read the new paper today.. and saw musashi from pug jelly. it's not surprising he gets love letters from female fans.. haha he's one such pretty boy.

jian ting i love u.

nah he's not my boyfriend. he's this new guy.. from sp. attached to the showroom. i have a lot to thank him. after he came... i finally felt useful after working there for a month. suddenly i got to do things that i itched to do but wasn't given the chance to. i got the chance to clean the notebooks, install ram, key in invoices. man it was GOOD. there might be alot of people who doesnt like to do things.. but when i'm working in a particular company, i just wanna go in and do whatever i can.
and... in the process.. i got sorta humiliated. in front of a customer. well.. i wun say why.. lolx. bloody supervisor. i miss matthew!!! he's always there to help me. watever i ask him he will help wan lor. very kind.. patient. but arh.. this aaron.. ask him questions only, he frowns. but i think he got mood swings wan. sometimes very nice sometimes like a bastard. can joke with u at times... but aiya.. i dont know. very temperamental guy. now that he's just been promoted to in-charge.. we must support him. like what john said. john also got promoted to ass. sup.
the day before.. i brought jian ting to all the showrooms. then went to ibm. almost got the shock of my life. not say shock la.. just that i dunno any of them. so i just asked jian ting to go in himself and into himself. then the ppl there say "who ask u to come?? dunno how to come in wan arh??!!" then when i went in.. they were like "wah.. we also dunno u.. u dunno how to intro urself arh".. then i said i was shy.. cos i dunno any of them. haha.. but actually i know justin lar. cos john said he's the "botak" wan.. then the other guy i know is vin. so vin asked me how i knew him. told him i saw him in friendster. saw him in matthew and mick's friendster wat... lolx. he almost faint i think. all of them were like "HUH??!!!"

small small world. was gonna punch card just now when i saw my neighbour. never seen him for like a few months or what already. in fact i seldom see him lah.. he happens to know almost all the staff in my company and also he knows mindy lor. go holiday together also.. organised by Acer. lolx. he's one of our suppliers.. haha... and i also just got to know his name though we've been neighbours for 13 years. haha!! and i also got free ride home. not bad eh??
he's damn rich sia.. always take cab to and from work. lol.
anyway.. some guy from sp got attached to our shop. name's jian ting. like girl's name rite? but it's a guy lah.. then brought him to all the other shops to introduce to everyone lor. introduce to all the in charge. then.. went to ibm shop. realised i dunno ANYONE of them. think the ones i know all went to funan. then i was like.. siao liao. then asked the guy to go in himself and intro himself. haha.. then kaoz. the ibm ppl ask me go in.. damn funny. cos i know two of them but they dunno me.. cos justin botak mah.. then vin is matthew's buddy. heard about them also. haha.. watever.
did something drastic to my hair. loved the hairstyle i got in australia. but i had to ruin it. cut my own fringe.. until too short. then went to the hairdresser asked her to help me... so now... my hair looks like some mushroom lor. sucks. i'll never ever cut my own hair!!!
and i also learnt a lesson. never let laziness take over you.. haha. i was so lazy to even walk 3 mins to go to the hairdresser's. lol. and i regret it.

what the hell is wrong with the world man... i'm just utterly disappointed with human beings. what do they think they're doing - killing each other. do they gain anything from it? okay, perhaps money. but still.. are we gonna kill each other until we get extinct? like the dinosaurs? anyway.. it seems like judgement day is coming. i remember my friend telling me about something in the bible - revealations. i went to read that chapter. it's really scary. look at all those disasters, all those wars happening around us. and people are killing each other. extremely disheartening.
my heart goes out to huang na's parents. and also to all who share my sympathy. such a young intelligent girl with a bright future ahead of her, and she got killed. she's just a young innocent harmless girl.. why kill her?? hope the murderer gets hanged. bloody asshole.
something else about singaporeans. i think the way i look at my fellow singaporeans is that... they are sort of shameful to be singaporeans. when singapore tries to create something new, to innovate, there will always be a whole group of people trying to demean the government's intentions. i mean, hey, singapore's still young.. we should give the government a chance instead of just rejecting whatever they come out with. well.. if that particular group of "negatives" think that it's easy to be in the panel.. why not go join and try to make some changes instead of complaining?
being a singaporean, i must say.. even though i've lived here all my life, i'm not familiar with the roads and places. and i can even bet on some of the people around me that we're of the same road idiots. well, unless u're driving a car. sometimes.. i dont understand why it's considered "o-biang" to go see cultural shows like opera or just go see those historical sites.. or do something that has gotta do with culture. any culture. do young people really deem culture as old-fashioned? anyway, is culture even a fashion at all?

talking about my work.. i must say... it's kinda fun working there. the people are absolutely nuts. but when it comes to month end and we haven't reached our target, we have to try not to offend our supervisor. cos he'll have mood swings or somethin. scary.
feel stressed also.. often, i face lots of questions from customers that i do not understand and i have to ask my colleagues.. then... abit paiseh lah. i remember there was once. this smart alec came in. looked at notebooks. then i asked him if he needed any help. he just asked me. which is better? pentium 4 or centrino? i was like. centrino is better.. more advanced.

is it? wrong! pentium 4 is better. centrino is mobile technology. and i was like... "nb. u noe still ask for wat." cos the fact was... i wasn't really THAT sure. but i certainly know centrino is more advanced. it makes notebooks mobile - enables wireless surf and increases battery life.
then i asked my boss after that son of a bitch left. he said that guy's partly right also. but he'll gan that guy if he were me. u see.. u need to compare the models and specifications. say.. pentium 2.4 is equivalent to centrino 1.6. yah..
oright.. to dmmt students.. congrats yah. tomorrow will be ur last day at intern!! excited?? hehe.. 4 months of torture is finally over!!
talkin about interns.. 12 students from sp engrg are gonna be attached to our company. and the people here aren't really happy with sp. cos the last time.. 3 were attached here and they all ponten together. failed them immediately. stupid guys!! intern still plan to fail. never seen such dumb asses before.
