u know it's time to blog when...finally something worth blogging happens.
was looking through lyd's blog and i'm really glad that she has found what she really wants. it's hard to achieve so much, like what she had, at such a ripe age of 21. envious of her, but i know my time will come. it's just.. when will it come. well at least i'm working towards it and no longer floating and floating in the middle of the ocean. at least now i'm swimming.
talkin about floating in the middle of the ocean... i just came back from a short getaway at bintan over the weekends with xl. most of the time, all we did was suntan, jacuzzi and back to suntan again. oh.. and swimming in the sea... but we did try the banana boat. it wasnt the same banana 8 years ago. this time, it's a bunch of 3 bananas. anyway.... i got flung off the boat twice. in a flash, i didnt know where i was, only that i was in the middle of the ocean.. not knowing what lurks beneath. especially in the seventh month. and jaws. and that the boat is like 10-20 metres away from me. twice was all i could take. i climbed up the speed boat which was to drag the banana boat along. yeah anyway... shortly after i relaxed on the speed boat, this jap guy who was seating beside me earlier on got flung off. i was really happy... so, i wasnt the only weakling after all! muahaha... he got stranded for 50 metres. lol.. poor guy... yeah anyway, that was the highlight of the trip. other highlights? well... my skin has got patches of pink highlights. it looks kinda cool though..

not too bad.. we got cocktails upon arrival at the hotel.. and also a cultural dance. which, being cool people, we didnt wanna appear dumb by taking pictures. but now when i think of it... we're dumb trying to be cool.

at pasar oleh oleh. it's a really boring place.. though good place just to dine there... other than that, it's a no-no. we stayed long enough to catch the earliest bus and to spend $12 on tidbits. btw, they only accept singapore dollars. but lucky us.. the only store for us to utilise our changed ruppiah was.. the convenience store.
dinner again, at oleh oleh.. to utilise the unlimited day pass. lolx... SINGAPOREANS!

it so feels like summer hols.. though it's summer 24/7 in sg.. but the sun seems brighter here despite being the same sun
hm.. i still have this childish streak in me, wanting to roll around in sand. but the sand was really soft...
we managed to catch our superband finals after all! that's zhang zeng yue... and mc hotdog will come later!
we wanted to catch sunrise.. but apparently.. we're at the wrong side of the island...
clear waters.. but i reckon redang will be a better place for snorkling

okie.. that's all. and happy national day!!! i'm off to work now. cant wait for school to start... and this milestone in my life that i must cross very very soon!!! oleh!! and u know, ever since starting work, my malay is improving by the day! at least i know my numbers.. just that i dont know how to count in thousands. lol.
